Georgetown Airfest 2010

Last weekend the Georgetown municipal Airport held its annual Airfest. there were dozens of planes and helicopters on display, from the golden days of aviation, to supermodern military choppers. There was fun for all ages, from the model plane enthusiast to the World War two buff. Some of the more notable planes included "The Devil Dog", a B-25J Mitchel, the "Buzzin Cuzzin", a P-51D arguably the best land based fighter aircraft of WWII "The Spirit", a custom single seater decked out and chrome, and an Apache attack helicopter used by the US army's air cavalry. The Devil Dog has the distinction of having appeared on an eppisode of mythbusters.
